I'd say camera needs to be within 0.5 to 1m of you. Further than that it sometimes plays up. If you get the one with IR LED clip it'll probably work ok at 1.5m. WebJan 28, 2024 · Agreed that Grass Monkey’s active dot puck is great. I’ve been using it now for almost 2 years now it’s my TIR5. I don’t think his King tracking unit was available when I ordered so I was curious to hear a head to head comparison with active dots which in my experience made a big difference with TIR.
