The flashing TPMS does mean there's a system problem (as opposed to a tire pressure being low when the light remains on steady), but it could be related to a wheel sensor that's not transmitting, or the TPMS control module isn't receiving the signal from one or more … WebMar 14, 2024 · About half an hour after leaving, the TPMS light started flashing. Now when I turn the truck on, the light flashes for about a minute then stays lit. I have read the manual and past threads, and they indicate this means there is a malfunction with the TPMS system, not low tire pressure (which is indicated by a steady light).

Usually, when the tpms flashes it's because there is a fault with the tpms. Usually a sensor failure. Best way is to actually be able to see the pids for the sensors.
