WebAug 4, 2024 · I changed ownership of the cylance service, restarted the computer, and stopped the service. then I could uninstall the program, which I later reinstalled. also seems if the network share from which the installation was pushed, moves, this breaks the app. cylance support is a black box, no help. all clues came from the helpful folks on this site!
